Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) is a financial inclusion mission that provides access to banking services to every household in India. 👤 Eligibility Criteria
Any Indian citizen above 10 years of age can open a Jan Dhan account. There is no minimum balance requirement. Even people without formal income proof can open the account using Aadhaar as KYC. One account per person is allowed. If the person already has a bank account at another bank, they can still convert it or open a new Jan Dhan account if they previously did not have one under PMJDY.
